Here at Auburn Centre Dental in Waterloo, ON, our primary goal is to help every patient achieve and maintain great oral health. Ideally, this means saving every natural tooth. Unfortunately, that is not always possible. However, cosmetically designed custom dentures can restore your oral health, and give you a beautifully natural looking smile.
TYPES OF DENTURES
We offer several options, depending on your needs:
- Complete dentures – This is probably the most familiar type of denture. It is a gum-coloured base with a full set of upper or lower teeth. It is customized to fit the shape of your mouth, creating suction that holds it in place.
- Partial dentures – If you have lost several, but not all, of your teeth, you may be a good candidate for a partial denture. The number and configuration of teeth in this denture are customized to your needs. It is held in place by an attachment or clasp.
- Implant dentures – This is the preferred option for patients seeking optimal stability and preservation of bone tissue. Implants are placed in the bone, replicating the function of tooth roots. They can be used to support a specially designed full or partial denture.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT OPTION
